Meet Captain
Covering Corpus Christi, Rockport and Port Aransas My entire life has been centered on boating. My father first introduced me to water sports such as fishing and water skiing as we helped my uncle with his marine repair business on Lake Waco. After graduating high school, I set my course for the Navy. While serving my three tours, I fell in love with sailing, renting Catalinas in my spare time. I left my military days behind after Operation Desert Storm. As a civilian, I continued to sail away my weekends on Hunters and Compacs. My first sailing vessel was a 24 ft. Helm, then I moved up to a Cal 36. With this vessel I obtained my Captain’s License and offered sailing charters for the next 16 years to share my joy of the sea with others. During this time, I expanded the business to operating a 34 ft. Lafitte Skiff. Eventually, I decided to increase my license and enter the realm of the oilfield, operating crew vessels out of Port Aransas, Port O’Conner and then a diving vessel named the Odysea. At this time, I decided to increase my license to 200 ton Masters. This allowed me to move up to navigating off-shore supply vessels and lift boats. I received my ASA Certification in 2012, and I am excited about my new position as a Yacht Broker for Sea Lake Yachts, thus continuing to share my love of the water and boating.
