2023 Cruisers 38 GLS South Beach | Triple Mercury 300 hp | Seakeeper

Exceptionally low-hour example of the signature South Beach Edition in Jet-Black hull with Ochre cockpit upholstery and rich Ebony Oak interior — one of the most versatile platforms in the 35-to-40-foot outboard express cruiser segment, now lying in Light House Point.

Powered by triple Mercury 300 hp Verado V8 outboards producing 900 horsepower total, with just 226 hours across all three engines. Mercury joystick piloting, Sky Hook, and autopilot make docking effortless and long passages relaxed. A Seakeeper gyro stabilizer keeps the boat flat underway and at anchor — a feature rarely found in this size class. The signature starboard Beach Door folds down electronically to convert the cockpit into a full water-level platform, the differentiator that sets the 38 GLS apart from every direct competitor.

The cockpit is built for entertaining: U-shaped aft lounge that converts to a sun pad, Corian wet bar with Isotherm refrigerator, electric grill, ice maker below the helm seat, retractable dining table seating six, Mocha SeaDek decking throughout, and a power SureShade foredeck canopy. Helm features dual Simrad 12-inch MFDs with radar, Mercury VesselView, and a Fusion Apollo stereo with lighted speakers. Bow lounge converts to a full sun pad with filler cushion. Below, Ebony Oak cabinetry, a mid-berth, a Dometic head with shower, and a 28-inch salon TV.

Cockpit and Entertainment Deck

The cockpit of the 38 GLS is designed as a large open entertaining space with approximately 120 square feet dedicated to relaxation and social gatherings.

A spacious U-shaped aft lounge finished in Ochre Sunbrella marine upholstery provides seating for multiple guests and converts into a large sun pad. The seating layout offers excellent views of the water and easy access to the swim platform.

The starboard side Beach Door folds down electronically to create a beach style platform that connects the cockpit with the swim platform. When deployed, the door significantly expands the entertainment area and creates an ideal location for swimming, boarding, or relaxing at anchor. Safety systems prevent operation while the engines are running. 

Opposite the seating area is a full cockpit wet bar featuring a Corian countertop, sink, refrigerator, and dedicated storage. A black electric cockpit grill and ice maker located below the helm seat add convenience when entertaining guests.

A retractable cockpit table rises from the centerline and comfortably seats six for outdoor dining. Mocha colored SeaDek decking runs throughout the cockpit and swim platform, providing both style and secure footing.

Helm Station 

The helm station combines modern navigation systems with intuitive vessel controls. A contoured helm seat with adjustable bolster and armrests sits behind a black dash. Dual Simrad multifunction displays provide integrated navigation, radar, and engine data. Mercury joystick piloting allows precise control during docking, while Mercury autopilot assists with longer passages.

Bow and Foredeck

The bow area offers a large sun lounge formed by two chaise style cushions that convert to a full sun pad using a center filler cushion.

Stainless steel bow rails provide safe movement forward and a polished stainless-steel anchor sits within the bow anchor locker.

The anchoring system includes an electric windlass and a dedicated anchor wash down system for easy maintenance after use.

Cabin and Accommodations

Transom and Swim Platform

The reinforced composite transom supports the triple Mercury outboards mounted on a performance bracket. The swim platform is finished in Mocha SeaDek decking and provides safe water access through a stainless-steel boarding ladder. Underwater lights illuminate the water around the vessel, creating an impressive appearance at night and enhancing visibility while swimming.

Mechanical and Vessel Systems

The vessel is equipped with a comprehensive systems package suitable for coastal cruising and extended days on the water. A 5Kw Cummins diesel generator provides independent power for onboard systems including air conditioning and appliances. Climate control is provided by a Webasto marine air conditioning system. There is a single fuel tank providing approximately 335 gallons of fuel capacity.
