Fully loaded Heritage edition with Bose surround sound, hydraulic swim platform, Raymarine electronics, Volvo Inboard Performance System (joystick, pod drives) and so much more!
Aptly named “Classica” this express cruiser boasts classic looks and sleek lines all blended tastefully with the most modern appointments and equipment. Chris-Craft has upheld its 130-year family tradition of using exceptional craftsmanship to build a superb boat. This Roamer 40 has the complete Heritage package and is an exquisite combination of the best materials, construction methods, design and refinery.
The Roamer’s aft cockpit is open and uncluttered with a well-thought-out layout to make entertaining second nature. Custom touches include “Classica” directors’ chairs and lifering. There are teak decks, ample storage, comfy lounges, sink unit with wet bar/icemaker, a removable table, transom shower, and easy access to the extra-wide hydraulic swim platform with tender davits.
Beneath the hardtop, there is ample seating for passengers with a comfortable settee and table, the helm is equally well thought out and ergonomically designed. Intuitive controls to all the vessel systems (including joystick controls) are within reach and the operator has a clear field of vision through 360 degrees. Accessing the bow is simple with no balancing act to maintain on wide deck access. Here there is a double sun pad, a bow seat molded into the cabin roof, and a tasteful teak beverage holder. Anchoring is easy with Lofrans Project 1000 vertical windlass with foot switches, 250' of 3/8” chain and a Lewmar Delta Polished Stainless-Steel anchor.
Head to the fully reverse-cycle air conditioned spaces below through the wide companionway, the Chris-Craft legacy of premium wood craftsmanship continues with teak, cherry and maple throughout. The u-shaped galley to the starboard, featuring Corian countertops, is wide, comfortable to move around in, and does not detract from the rest of the salon which is to the port and forward. The salon has comfortable seating, excellent headroom and plenty of storage.
The spacious primary stateroom forward has an attached head and shower and the original Chris-Craft linens and throw pillows.
The guest stateroom has twin berths, again, with its own attached head and shower.
Twin Volvo-Penta IPS600 (Inboard Performance System) diesels power this classic beauty with ease and great maneuverability. Just out of the yards with a full tune on the engines, bottom paint and PropSpeed on the running gear, no immediate maintenance is due. A complete survey was completed at the time of dry dock and is available for review upon request.
The teak decks are currently undergoing their annual cleaning and sealing treatment (pictures taken prior to this).
This beautiful vessel has been professionally maintained and serviced with a no-expense-spared attitude. “Classica” is available for viewing at St Croix, USVI in a fully transferable slip at the desirable Green Cay Marina.
