Manufacturer Provided Description
The Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge has individual options ranging from engine upgrades to a lower control station, and there's also a choice between two complete bridge plans and cabin layouts. The gracious standard cabin layout of the 400 Sedan Bridge has two large staterooms, two head areas, and a spacious midlevel galley with a salon-level breakfast bar. The forward stateroom has a full-size bed, cedar-lined hanging locker, floor storage, private head and shower, and a standard entertainment center with a TV - VCR - radio combination. The two twin beds in the port stateroom easily convert to a king-size bed. There's plenty of room for stowing personal articles in the hanging cedar-lined locker, built-in drawers, and floor storage. The guest head with shower is right next door. The magnificently finished galley has wood cabinetry, a flush-mounted three-burner electric stove, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. The salon comes complete with an electric sleeper sofa, entertainment center with TV - VCR - radio combination, cocktail table, and a full dinette which can be replaced with an optional lower control station. An optional floor plan allows for a third stateroom to starboard with bunk beds, locker, and built-in storage drawers. Both plans feature deep-pile marine-grade carpet and two choices of granite-colored countertops and tables, with handcrafted wood trim throughout. Molded steps with a security hatch and gas-assisted latch provide safe access to the spectacular bridge, which offers a choice of two seating plans. The first allows for a starboard helm station with added room for electronics and custom slide and swivel helm seats. The second plan provides plenty of room for socializing with a portside helm station with dual companion seat plus spacious U-shaped bridge seating with a sunpad, filler cushions, and cocktail table. For good looks and easy maintenance, both designs include snap-in carpet liner, burl instrument panels, an aluminum framed venturi shield, fiberglass spoiler, Bimini top enclosure, new bridge aft enclosure, and a double sunpad aft of the seating area. The self-bailing fiberglass cockpit is equipped with a gas-assisted bilge service hatch, aft and side panel storage, fender storage tastefully concealed in the transom aft wall, even an ice maker. Here's another Sea Ray touch - the battery on - off switch is in the cockpit instead of the engine room. Regardless of the layout, the Sea Ray 400 Sedan Bridge boasts a wealth of standard equipment including twin 380 horsepower MerCruiser gas inboards, remote start generator, Raytheon electronics, Lofrans windlass, interior Sunbrella carpet runners, even a Clarion AM-FM digital cassette stereo with six-disc CD changer, amplifier, subwoofer, eight speakers, and a bridge remote control. A standard accessory package comes complete with ACR remote-controlled spotlight, oil changer system for the diesel options, telephone inlet, and even a dual outlet vacuum system.
