1986 Krogen 36 Manatee

The Manatee hull and cabin sides are of fiberglass sandwich construction with closed-cell PVC foam core heavy hand lay-up using mat and roving. This state-of-the-art construction make this one of the most enduring and safest Motor Yachts for sale today. Closed-cell PVC foam core does not deteriorate or absorb water. The composite structure serves both as a buoyancy material, shock, sound and temperature insulator. It rides quiet, increases impact strength and eliminates condensation build-up inside the hull. Decks area fiberglass sandwich construction with end-grain balsa core.

Boat has been in fresh water since 2001 to 2017 & “brackish” since then. Boat has been undercover since 2002.

Accommodations

One of the outstanding features of the Krogen Manatee is the large stateroom, located forward, with a queen size island berth, large "walk-in" size hanging locker, built-in bookcase, mirrored vanity and generous drawer storage. The head is located to starboard opposite the galley. It includes a large separate stall shower, a large opening window and sink and faucet. There are 4 opening ports and a large opening hatch. Double teak doors open onto a teak soled covered aft deck. Large aft gate lowers to become a swim platform/boarding gate.

Galley

The galley is located on the port side, forward of the salon. It is very large and has and exceptional amount of cupboard, drawer and locker storage with added shelving. There is a convenient opening to the salon that can be closed when desired.
