1984 Gulfstar 49 Motor Yacht Repowered

The Gulfstar 49 MY offers a unique layout with maximum interior space.  She has two staterooms aft and one stateroom forward. Each stateroom has its own head with shower stall.  What is usually the main salon space in a boat this size has been designed with a large, open galley and dinette.  The aft deck has become a large main salon and aft of that are doors opening to the aft deck. The interior of the vessel is finished out with teak wood including a parquet sole in some areas.  She is fully air conditioned on the inside and the flybridge has a separate unit.

The Main Salon can be accessed from either side deck or the aft deck.  This is a large, comfortable space for lounging or entertaining guests.  Features here include:

The Galley and Dinette area is in the space usually dedicated to a salon.  The galley is to port and the dinette to starboard.  This space has great visibility from the forward windshield and the side windows.  Items here include:

• Mini blinds on side windows  /  Textaline sunshade on forward windshield
• Sharp Carousel microwave oven
• Tappan 4 burner electric cooktop

Forward of the galley is a utility area.  Here you will find a stacked Frigidaire washer and dryer plus a top load freezer.  Additional storage lockers are here as well.

Down a few steps and just aft of the galley is the Mid Guest Stateroom.   This stateroom is on the port side and just across to starboard is the Mid Guest Head.  Here you will find:

• Double berth with storage below
• Pull down single berth bunk, stows when not in use
• Hanging locker  /  Bookshelf area
• Head with sink basin storage areas, shower stall, Mansfield vacuum flush toilet.

All the way aft is the Master Stateroom and Head.  This is a large, private space with great storage areas.  Features here include:

• Centerline, walk around queen size berth
• Port & starboard side drawer and cabinet storage areas
• Large hanging locker spaces  /  Book shelf areas
• Bulkhead mounted Sony LCD television
• 110v lamps and 12v reading lights  /  Overhead escape hatch
• Private head with tub/shower combo, Mansfield vacuum flush toilet, large sink basin area and storage spaces

Up forward past the galley is the Forward Guest Stateroom and Head.  This is a well appointed area and has the following:

• V-berth arrangement with book shelves on each side
• Anchor locker access forward / Overhead hatch
• Private head with Mansfield vacuum toilet, shower stall and storage areas
• Aft in this space is the door entrance to the engine room.

 The Gulfstar 49 has port and starboard sidedecks which allow access to the bow.  Aft of the salon is a full width deck space suitable for tying up lines or relaxing on a deck chair. Features of the exterior of the boat include:
